Return to Substance
exhibition marks the official opening of Leba Art Gallery on the 3rd of
November 2007. The exhibition opens to the public on the 4th of
November 2007.
This is a collaborative exhibition featuring works by the internationally renowned artist Robin Anderson and Botswana's own award winning Mogorosi Modisane. Robin's works are a creative mix of water colours on silk featuring wildlife and indigenous Africa people, while Modisane's oil and acrylic paint works on Hessian, canvas and leather depict the African woman bringing together an explosion of ideas. The "Return to Substance" exhibition promises to be an exciting combination of the unique and authentic Tswana and Kenyan talent. The exhibition will take the aspiring artist and the collector alike on a true African journey through colour and art stimulating a new found appreciation for African art and culture while instilling pride for its people. |
